Our Origin Story

Solterra was born from a dream that started long before it ever became a brand.

Back in 2018, a 14yr old girl named Chloe Navarro was sitting at a buffet table in the Philippines with her aunt and uncle, talking about life, travel, and the kind of impact she hoped to make one day. During that trip, she noticed something that stuck with her - trash piling up on the streets, polluting the places she loved exploring. She told her aunt, “If I ever start a jewelry business, I want part of the profits to go toward fixing this.”

That moment planted the first seed of Solterra.

As she grew up, her love for traveling only deepened. At 16, she searched everywhere for a necklace that could represent that part of her identity - something that symbolized adventure, culture, and the feeling of discovering new corners of the world. But nothing felt right. Nothing felt like her story.

Years later, after backpacking, solo traveling, and meeting people who changed her life, Chloe realized something important: the stories we collect while traveling are worth holding onto. And there were so many others like her - travelers, creators, dreamers - who felt the same way.

So she decided to build something that could hold those memories.

Solterra officially came to life in 2024, inspired by the places we go, the people who shape us, and the belief that jewelry can be more than an accessory - it can be a reminder of who we become through our journeys. Every piece is designed with intention, made with high-quality sustainable materials, and created for the traveler who wants something meaningful, durable, and made to last through real adventure.
